World Environment Day

A Blessing in Disguise!

It once used to be green

Filled with crisp fresh air,

With crystal ponds and dewy loam

Knitting a view so rare.

With a gleaming sun

In the sheer blue sky,

Filled with the sweet music

Of the bird’s lullaby.

It all faded away

For the creatures on the ground,

Have looted God’s treasure

For by their greed, they are bound.

This greed has deafened them

They cannot hear the nature’s cry,

For a time will come when in their deathbeds

These creatures will lie.

This can be steered clear of

For if we open our eyes,

To see all that we have been given

By the nature, a blessing in disguise.
